This year’s International Women’s Day was truly special for the cosmetics industry.
All thanks to the exhibition dedicated to the cosmetics sector, organized by the Polish Union of the Cosmetics Industry under the patronage of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The showcase “The Cosmetic Industry by EU: How We Do It in Poland”, prepared by the team of MEP Elżbieta Łukacijewska and the Polish Union of the Cosmetics Industry, not only highlighted the strength and innovation of the Polish cosmetics sector, but also shed light on the growing barriers impacting its development.
Challenging topics were not avoided. EU regulations and their real impact on how companies operate, overregulation that sometimes stifles innovation, and daily struggles hidden behind well-sounding directives – all were openly addressed.
It was a great space for substantive, honest conversation – among industry representatives, politicians, and experts.
This meeting was an important voice from our industry – in a place where such voices truly matter. And a necessary step toward a more balanced, partnership-based approach to regulating a sector with massive potential for Europe – especially for Poland, where cosmetics is one of the country’s leading industries, something clearly visible throughout the exhibition.
Big thanks to the Polish Union of the Cosmetics Industry for the invitation – it was insightful, to the point, and truly inspiring. More events like this, please!
